Micromax Unveiled Evok Power, Evok Note Exclusively on Flipkart

In order to give a tough competition in budget smartphone range to the Chinese manufacturers, Micromax, the Indian smartphone manufacturing firm has launched two new smartphones in its Evok series- Note and Power. The Micromax Evok Note and Evok Power are exclusively available via Flipkart with a price tag of Rs 9,499 and Rs 6,999 respectively.

Concerning the specifications, the Micromax Evok Note Android smartphone packs a 5.5-inch full HD display with 2.5D glass on the top. It is powered by a 1.3GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6753 processor paired with 3GB RAM and 32GB of inbuilt memory space, which can be further expanded via a microSD card. In term of optics, the handset is blessed with 13-megapixel rear-facing camera with  5P Largan. A 5-megapixel front shooter is also provided by the company for selfie enthusiasts. It is backed up by a 4,000 mAh battery and also packs a fingerprint scanner and Secure Space feature for dual profiles.

Coming next to the Evok Power, the Dual-SIM is blessed with a 5-inch HD display and is powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core processor paired with 2GB RAM  and 16GB of inbuilt storage. The optical part of GSM handset includes an 8-megapixel rear camera along with a 5-megapixel front shooter for shooting selfies. It is backed up by a 4,000mAh battery and comes with a fingerprint sensor as well. Moreover both the smartphone features 4G VoLTE connectivity and are available for sale via Flipkart.

With the help of its Evok series, the Indian smartphone manufacturer is planning to grab the market share from some leading companies like Lenovo-Motorola, Coolpad, Xiaomi and Honor. All of these companies sell their products exclusively via online portals, while Micromax has no plans to make its entire lineup Flipkart exclusive.
