Microsoft has finally cut the ribbon from its budget Lumia 540 Dual SIM for Indian market. The elegant handset has been set to sale at Rs. 10,199 in our country. Prebooking has begun for the device while it will reach in stores from Monday, May 18.
The tech giant has brought the handset as promised on May 14. Earlier we had informed you with the invite of this Lumia smartphone launch event. Microsoft Lumia 540 Dual SIM has come with a promise to be upgradable to Windows 10 whenever it will become available. Currently, the handset runs on Windows 8.1 OS with Lumia Denim update.

Lumia 540 Dual SIM flaunts a 5-inch HD IPS display. A Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 quad-core processor is clocked at 1.2 GHz for fast performance. 1GB RAM is also there to make the performance smooth. An 8GB inbuilt storage with option of microSD card slot to store upto 128GB of data is also there.
To bless shutterbugs with great imaging experience, company has equipped an 8MP rear snapper with LED flash and a 5MP front-facing camera. It is fueled by a 2200mAh battery. On connectivity side, users have 3G, Bluetooth, and Wi-Fi features. Company has pre-loaded the device with 30GB of free OneDrive cloud storage.
