Microsoft To Discontinue Lumia Series Till December This Year

Well, everything raised from an inch to above comes to an end, especially in the case when it is not outperforming. This same situation is being referred to the Lumia smartphone series of the Microsoft.

In the starting, everything was bright and pleasing, having Windows OS, a one of its kind OS, which is also incorporated withing many laptop segments, gave a similar feeling and touch to the Windows Smartphone users is now dropping with a higher pace.

The Lumia smartphone couldn't manage to lure the customers anymore, and anyone who has a constant eye over the Microsoft steps has a clear idea of this decision. Back in February, when Microsoft offered Lumia 650, it was tagged as the last phone of the series and this same fact has also come out to be true in much sense as there is no new smartphone has been unveiled after that.

There are currently four Lumia smartphones offered in the market, Lumia 550, Lumia 650, Lumia 950, and Lumia 950 XL which is also on the verge to complete their duties and this series will disappear as soon as the stocks last.

But there is a replacement plan in the strategy of the company named as Surface phone which could show up in 2017 ending the Lumia series with a fair well. This Surface smartphone has been touted to be powered by a Snapdragon 830 processor and would be packed up with an amazing 8GB of RAM.
