Mobiistar, Vietnam based smartphone manufacturer company entered the Indian market with the launch of two smartphones, XQ Dual and CQ at an event in New Delhi. The newly entered smartphone player has joined the race of Oppo and Vivo by offering selfie- centric features on both smartphones. Mobiistar XQ Dual comes with dual- selfie cameras which is the key highlighting feature of the smartphone, whereas CQ comes with a single selfie camera. Both of the smartphones falls under the budget segment
Mobiistar XQ Dual has been priced at Rs. 7,999, whereas the CQ is available for purchase at a price tag of Rs Rs. 4,999. Both smartphones will be available for purchase exclusively at Flipkart from 30th May starting 12 pm IST. Both, Mobiistar XQ Dual and CQ comes with two color options: Black and Gold.
At the price point, it seems that the CQ will compete with Redmi 5A and XQ Dual will face stiff competition from Xiaomi Redmi 5.
Customers who purchase the newly launched Mobiistar smartphones will receive the discount of Rs 1000 in an exchange of old smartphones. On the purchase of Mobiistar XQ Dual and CQ, the company is offering Complete Mobile Protection at a price of Rs 99 which cover issues related to software and hardware, apart from the shattered screen and liquid damage. The services will be provided at user doorstep.
As a part of launch offers, both of the smartphones bundled with Reliance Jio's 'Jio Football Offer' in which the users will get a cashback offer of Rs 2,200 on the purchase of XQ Dual and CQ. Initially, the customers will have to make the prepaid recharge of Rs 198 or Rs 299 in the first month which is valid until 15th July 2018. From the second month, the user will get full cashback amount of Rs 2,200 in the form of 44 vouchers each amounting Rs 50 which can be credited to MyJio App.
Full-Screen Display along with 18:9 Aspect Ratio is trending these days in the smartphone industry and many of the manufacturer players are offering Full-screen displays in its latest flagship. However, Mobiistar XQ Dual flaunts a 5.5-inch full HD Screen IPS display with traditional 16:9 aspect ratio and the screen resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels. It is powered by octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor clocked at 1.4GHz, coupled with Adreno 505 GPU. It is equipped with 3GB of RAM and 32GB internal storage with an option to extend up to 128GB via microSD card. It comes with a hybrid configuration which allows the users either to use two nano SIM cards at a time, and one nano sim or one microSD card.
In terms of optics, the Mobiistar XQ Dual gets a single 13-megapixel rear camera with an aperture of f/2.0 and dual tone LED flash. At the front the smartphone sport dual selfie cameras which include 13-megapixel primary camera and an 8-megapixel secondary camera with an aperture of f/2.0 and f/2.2 respectively. The smartphone offers beautify mode along with camera filters which helps to make some changes in photos. The front camera also has LED flash which helps to capture good photos during low- light conditions.
Under the hood, it packs a 3,000mAh battery. In terms of connectivity options, the XQ Dual include Bluetooth, 4G VoLTE, GPS, and Wi-Fi. The most disappointing point is that It runs on Android 7.1.2 Nougat- out-of-the-box and currently there is no information when the smartphone will get Android Oreo update.
Now moving to CQ is available at an affordable price being offered by Mobiistar which features a 5-inch HD display and the screen resolution of 720x1280 pixels. It is powered by quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 chipset, matted with 2GB of RAM and 16GB internal storage which can be further extended up to 128GB with the help of memory card. It runs on Android 7.1.2 Nougat- out-of-the-box.
In terms of optics, the CQ gets a single 8-megapixel rear camera and 13-megapixel selfie shooter offering autofocus, f/2.0 aperture lens, and an LED flash. Under the hood, it is fueled by a 3,000mAh battery. The smartphone has Bluetooth, GPS, 4G VoLTE, and Wi-Fi.
