Lenovo-owned Motorola had initially unveiled three smartphones called with Moto E5, Moto E5 Plus, and Moto E5 Play in its E- series at an event conducted in Brazil on 19th April 2018. Just a few days after launching the Moto E5 Plus and Moto E5 in India, the company has now launched the Moto E5 Play with Android Oreo (Go Edition) smartphone in Latin American and European countries.
Apart, from the Android 8.1 Oreo, Moto E5 Play comes with some changes in specifications. It is anticipated that Samsung South- Korean giant is working to introduce its first Android Oreo Go Smartphone. Motorola has launched the new version of Moto E5 Play to take on the likes of Google's optimized version of Android for entry-level smartphones.

The Moto E5 Play Android Oreo (Go edition) will be available for purchase in European and Latin American countries during this month. It comes with a price tag of EUR 109 which roughly translates to Rs. 8,700. So far, the Motorola has not announced the price, release and availability date of Moto E5 Play (Go edition) in India.
The Moto E5 Play Android Oreo (Go edition) comes with a 5.3-inch display along with 18:9 aspect ratio, whereas the original Moto E5 Play features a 5.2-inch display with 16:9 aspect ratio. The original and Go edition version of Moto E5 Play shares the similar design which included rear-mounted fingerprint scanner which is positioned below the Moto logo.
Both of the versions have a similar 8-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera accompanied by an LED flash. Other specifications such as processor and storage have not been specified by the company so far. The original Moto E5 Play features a with 2GB of RAM, whereas the Android Oreo Go Edition likely to come with 1GB RAM as it is limit for the entry- level (Android Oreo) smartphone
It is anticipated that the remaining specifications are similar to the US variant of the Moto E5 Play that includes 2800mAh battery, water-repellent coating, Snapdragon 425/ 427 SoC. The new Moto E5 Play Android Oreo Go Edition smartphone is to be equipped with 1GB RAM and 16GB onboard storage which can be further extended up to 128GB by using microSD card.
