Moto Z3 Play Launched Featuring Dual Rear Cameras, Android 8.1Oreo

As expected, Lenovo -owned Motorola has expanded its Z- series by launching Moto Z3 Play at an event in Brazil on 6th of June. Moto Z3 Play is a successor of last year launched Moto Z2 and comes with some improved features, hardware, and dual- rear cameras. The specifications of Moto Z3 Play was leaked on the internet just a few days before the official launch. It has been priced at R$ 2,299 roughly translates to Rs 40,400 in India which will ship with a Deep Indigo Color Option only and currently the company has not disclosed the information whether it is working on more color options or not. Obviously, the Moto Z3 Play supports Moto Mods likewise the remaining Motorola Z- series smartphones.

Moto Z3 Play Specifications

The Moto Z3 PLay features a 6.01-inch Super AMOLED display with a screen resolution of 1080 x 2160 pixels. The smartphone comes with Corning Gorilla Glass on both sides which protects the smartphone from damage and breaking. It runs on top of the line Android 8.1 Oreo -out-of-the-box. It is powered by an Octa-Core Snapdragon 636 SoC clocked at 1.8GHz coupled with Adreno 509 GPU.

The Moto Z3 Play has been created by using aircraft-grade 6000 series aluminum. In terms of storage, the smartphone gets 4GB of RAM and 32GB/64GB internal storage which can be further extended up to 2TB via microSD card.

The Moto Z3 Play features dual- rear cameras with the combination of 12- megapixel primary camera and 5-megapixel secondary camera with an aperture of f/1.7 and f/2.2 respectively. The rear camera setup comes with dual- tone LED flash. For selfies and video calling, the smartphone sport an 8- megapixel front-facing camera. In terms of security, the smartphone gets a fingerprint sensor positioned on the right side.

The premium Moto Z3 play is armed with 3000mAh battery with the support of Turbocharging which charge the gadget quickly. In terms of connectivity, the smartphone includes 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 5 LE, GPS and among others. In terms of dimensions, it measures 156.5 x 76.5 6.75mm and the weight of the smartphone is 156 grams. Currently, the company has not revealed when Moto Z3 Play would officially unveil in India.

The Moto Z3 Play will be available for purchase at various e-commerce platforms such as Best Buy, Fry’s, Target, Amazon, Walmart, B&H Photo as well as owned Moto E- store in the United States and among others. It is anticipated that the deliveries of Moto Z3 Play will start during this summer.
