Lenovo owned Motorola is working upon P- series of smartphones and recently launched the Moto P30 Note in the China market. Within a few days of the launch of P30 Note, the Motorola P30 Play has been spotted on the Chinese website which reveals the entire specifications of the upcoming smartphone before the formal launch. It is pointing towards that the launch event closer and the Lenovo- owned Motorola would unveil the Moto P30 Play in the upcoming days, however, the company has not disclosed the timeline for the launch event.
Previously, three Moto P30 series smartphones namely Moto P30, P30 Note and P30 Play have been listed on the company’s official website in China. Among three smartphones, only the Moto P30 Note has launched till now in China.
The listing has revealed the detailed information such as price, design and specifications regarding the upcoming Moto P30 Play. One must note that this is not the first time that Motorola P30 Play has spotted on the official website previously it was spotted in the last month before the formal launch of Motorola P30 .

The China official website has listed the Motorola P30 for short period of time and later then removed the specifications sheet from its listing page. Thankfully, a technological has somehow managed to capture the screenshots of the listing page along with specifications of the upcoming smartphone.
The listing page has also revealed that the Motorola P30 Play will costs around at CNY 1,899 (roughly Rs. 20,000) which will be available in a single 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage configuration. The listing page has not revealed the availability details of the upcoming smartphone. If the price is to be believed then the Motorola P30 Play could be the cheapest version of Moto P30 series smartphones. The company would offer two color options including Ice Jade White and Bright Black of Moto P30 Play.
Motorola P30 and Motorola P30 Note are identical to each other in terms of design. As far as specifications are concerned, the listing page reveals that an alleged Moto P30 Play will feature a 5.88-inch IPS LCD display featuring 19:9 aspect ratio and the screen resolution of 720 x 1520 pixels. It would ship with Android 8.0 Oreo along with in-house Lenovo's ZUI 4.0. It would be powered by a 625 Qualcomm Snapdragon processor coupled with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage. It could support microSD card for further extending the storage capacity.
The Motorola P30 Play is said to feature a vertically positioned dual rear cameras which could come with a 13-megapixel primary sensor and 2-megapixel secondary sensor with an aperture of f/2.0 and f/2.4 respectively. Up front, the smartphone could have 8-megapixel selfie snapper featuring an aperture of f/2.2. The fingerprint scanner is positioned on the rear panel. Under the hood, it could be powered by a 3,000mAh battery.
