NFC Chip in iPhone 6 to Replace Wallet with Pay by Touch Ability

To replace the wallet, the Cupertino giant Apple is coming out with a new technology which will allow their devices to pay bills for items, they have purchased physically. NXP is developing the chips for mobile payment system which will be based on NFC technology (Near-field Communication). The Dutch Chip maker has also provided M7 motion coprocessor for iPhone 5s.

It is expected that the next iPhone will get this feature which will allow users to pay for their shopping and any other stuff by a simple touch as per the Financial Times report. NFC technology works in a manner to connect your iPhone with any payment terminal and it can also connect your device with others wirelessly. If the report becomes true, then people can see this technology in iPhone 6 which is ready to launch on September 9 in Apple’s big event.

Apple Pay by Touch

A very small number of smartphones in US support the NFC connectivity. On the other side, Japan has become the big market for NFC supported smartphone devices. If it really happens, then user can easily store their credit card and other payment information on their iPhone devices and the alleged iPhone 6 will become the first Apple device to come with NFC chip.

Apple has been invited the media for its event which may bring iPhone 6. After the launch of the much anticipated device of Cupertino giant, it will decide that all the rumours including this NFC chip are true or not (Go through the rumours of iPhone 6, a Complete Guide); until then take all these as grain of salt.
