HMD Global has been continuously putting efforts to offer something new to the customers and this time the Finnish smartphone manufacturer has launched the successor of Nokia 7 with the name tag Nokia 7.1 and comes with some modifications and improved specifications.
At the beginning of October, Nokia Finnish based smartphone manufacturer company had launched the Nokia 7.1 at a mega event in London. Just a few days after the London event, the Nokia has conducted an event in India where the company was planning to unveil the Nokia 7.1, but HMD Global had unveiled the Nokia 3.1 Plus instead of Nokia 7.1.
The new reports suggesting that HMD Global is about to unveil the Nokia 7.1 in the Indian market in the coming month most probably in November.
The newly launched Nokia 7.1 featuring a Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 SoC, USB Type-C port for fast charging, 19:9 aspect ratio with display notch and compatible with Android Pie mobile operating system.
It is a part of Android One Programme which the company claims it will receive the software updates regularly and monthly security updates during the 90 days of launch.
It seems that HMD Global would unveil the Nokia 7.1 in the month of November in the Indian market which will be available for purchase exclusively at online retail platforms. The leaks so far claim that the Nokia 7.1 will be available under the price tag of Rs 30,000 in India. The Nokia 7.1 was recently showcased at India Mobile Congress 2018.
A contradictory situation has arrived now, as previously it was rumoured that the Nokia would unveil only Nokia 7.1 Plus in the Indian market which was recently launched in the China market with the name tag Nokia X7.
On another hand, it is assuming that the Nokia 7.1 will be priced above Rs 25,000 which seems difficult to get a strong position particularly in the India market, where the competition is very tough.
To recall, the Nokia 7.1 was launched at a retail price of EUR 299 (around Rs 25,400) particularly in the European market at the beginning of October.
