Microsoft has made announcement about its Lumia 930 smartphone’s availability in the global market. The phone has finally been reached in the global market which is priced at $599 (approx Rs. 35,800). However, the phone will make its debut in India later. The phone was first launched at Microsoft's Build 2014 conference in the month of April.
The phone was appeared along with Lumia 630 and Lumia 635 in the conference. Although, the phone has already been listed on online retail stores like Flipkart, Infibeam and HomeShop18 without price tag. The single SIM smartphone, which has 5-inch full-HD ClearBlack OLED display and offers screen resolution of 1080x1920 pixels. The display is coated with Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It features Super Sensitive Touch' feature, and 'a near 180-degree viewing angle which enhances your experience.
Nokia Lumia 930 is powered by 2.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 SoC which is ergastic one in fast performance. Its 2GB of RAM is powerful enough to offer smooth experience when several apps are running simultaneously. The device is coupled with 32GB built-in storage which is quite appropriate to store huge data in it, but the absence of microSD card support will disappoint.
On the imaging section, it has 20-megapixel PureView camera on the rear side which gives you the best picture taking experience with dual-LED flash which is interlaced with optical image stabilisation (OIS) and Carl Zeiss optics. The phone is also equipped with 1.2-megapixel wide-angle front-facing camera.
Nokia Lumia 930 gets Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi direct, Bluetooth 4.0, NFC, Micro-USB, 3G and LTE support as connectivity option. It is backed by 2420mAh battery which delivers upto 21.7 hours of 2G talk time and 17.9 hours of 3G talk time. It is dubbed in aluminium frame with metallic accents and has curved polycarbonate back.
