MWC 2019 Event has commenced from 24 February 2019 in Barcelona wherein the Finnish, smartphone manufacturer has showcased much- anticipated Nokia 9 PureView, Nokia 3.2, Nokia 4.2, Nokia 210, Nokia 1.
The key attractions of the Nokia 9 PureView include five lenses on the rear panel and it is the world’s first smartphone that features Penta lens technology. The smartphone takes account of all the camera sensors while capturing the shot and making the image quality much better. The Penta-camera set up is consisting of two 12MP colour sensors and three 12MP monochrome sensors - featuring an aperture of f/1.82 and d PDAF focus. All of the sensors are capable to capture the photos simultaneously and then the image is collaged for a complete process image. There is a 20 MP Front-facing camera for selfies and video calling which is accompanied by display flash.
The camera captures images in RAW option by default but the users can change this option via settings. The camera app is preloaded with HDR mode and Portrait mode for better photographs. The camera sensors can identify 1,200 layers of depth. The much- anticipated Nokia 9 PureView has been equipped with Adobe Lightroom and the latest professional user interface in the camera application.
The Nokia 9 PureView boasts a 5.99” QHD+ pOLED display with a screen Resolution of 2K HD. For the security purpose, the device has Corning Gorilla Glass 5 on the top which protects the device from scratches and damages. For the hardware, the device has Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC coupled with 6GB of RAM and up to 128GB for internal storage. For the safety purpose, the new Nokia device gets under- display fingerprint scanner which lets users unlock the device. Under the hood, it is armed with a 3,320mAh battery which supports Qi wireless charging. Likewise other Nokia smartphones, the Nokia 9 PureView is based on Google’s Android One program and it runs on Android 9 Pie out-of-the-box.
The new Nokia 9 PureView costs $699 which approximately translates to Rs 49,600. It will be available for purchase from March 2019 in selected countries. As of now, it is not confirmed when HMD Global would unveil the Nokia 9 PureView in India.
The Nokia 4.2 has been priced at $169 which roughly translates to Rs 12,100 and the phone will go on sale in April 2019, as per Nokia. The Nokia 4.2 features a 5.7-inch display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 439 SoC, dual rear camera, as well as a dedicated Google Assistant button. Notification light feature is available on the Nokia 4.2 which is positioned on the power button side. For storing content, the smartphone gets 2GB/3GB of RAM and 16GB/ 32GB internal storage which can be further extended up to 400GB via microSD card.
For photography purpose, the Nokia 4.2 has dual sensors on the rear panel which includes 13MP primary camera with features like PDAF, an aperture of f/2.2 LED flash, 1.12µm pixel size and a 2MP secondary camera. The camera app is preloaded with AI-powered capabilities to capture better photos during the low- light conditions, claims Nokia. Other key features of the Nokia 4.2 include a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner, supports Dual 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS/GLONASS, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, micro USB support and a 3000mAh battery.

The Nokia 3.2 has been priced at $139 which approximately translates to Rs 10,000 and will be available for purchase from April 2019, said Nokia.
The key features of the Nokia 3.2 include 6.26-inch HD+ screen along with U-shaped notch, Qualcomm Snapdragon 429 SoC, and a 4,000mAh battery. A dedicated Google Assistant button is available on the device and it comes with notification light on the power button on the side. For the security purpose, the device gets a facial unlock as well as a fingerprint scanner. In the camera department, the devices get a 13MP primary rear camera and also has AI camera modes which let users capture impressive photos during low-light conditions. The device is part of Google-owned Android One programme though it runs on Android One OS.
The Nokia 1 Plus is priced at $99 (approximately Rs. 7,100) which will go on sale in early March. The users can choose among red, black, and blue color options. The Nokia 1 Plus is an entry-level smartphone that has a 5.45-inch display. It comes with an 8MP rear camera and a 5MP front-facing camera. It is part of Android Go Edition and runs on Android 9 Pie.
The Nokia 210 is a feature phone that costs $35 (roughly Rs 2,500). The deliveries will start from next week and it will be available in three color options - red, gray, and black. The new Nokia feature phone comes with Opera Mini which allows users to surf the internet on Nokia 210.
