The OnePlus 3 was dispatched in India this week at Rs. 27,999, and at the launch, OnePlus had that the Soft Gold shading variant would be made available at a later date. As of now, just the Graphite shading variant is up for purchase. Currently, OnePlus Co-Founder Carl Pei has confirmed that the Soft Gold shading variant will be available at some time in the second half of July.

Carl Pei has not confirmed the specific date. A Twitter user tweeted at Pei requesting points of interest on the shading variant, to which Pei answered that it would hit the business sectors at some point in the month of July.
For the time being, the OnePlus 3 Graphite variant can be brought from Amazon India without the invite system. OnePlus has now formally scrapped the invite system and has reported that all the future smartphone will be sold invite free. Prime supporter Pete Lau likewise declared as of late that the company will concentrate on one and only true flagship, and won't discharge a subsequent model of the OnePlus X.

OnePlus even released the source kernel code of the OnePlus 3 not long after the dispatch of the cell phone. The code is available for download on Github. With respect to the specs, the smartphone keeps running on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow-based Oxygen OS and sports double SIM. It features a 5.5-inch display and is powered by a Snapdragon 820 SoC. The handset is coupled with 6GB of LPDDR4 RAM and bears a 64GB of inbuilt storage.
On the photography section, it is loaded with a 16-megapixel camera at the rear end along with an 8-megapixel front facing camera on the board. The OnePlus 3 packs with a 3000mAh non-removable battery with Dash Charge and a fingerprint sensor at the front.
