OnePlus 6T has been the matter of subject from last few weeks, as the Chinese smartphone manufacturer has officially announced that the OnePlus would unveil the latest flagship 'OnePlus 6T' in India on 30th October.
The company has started sending invites to press media for the launch event which is set to be scheduled at KDJW Stadium (inside Indira Gandhi Stadium Complex) in New Delhi on October 30. The event will commence at 8:30 PM IST.
OnePlus fans whom are eagerly waiting for the OnePlus6T can also attend the launch event by purchasing the invites from company's official website. The Chinese tech giant is also planning to launch the OnePlus6T across the globe on the same day as India launch.
OnePlus has always teased with various features before the formal announcement of the flagship smartphone, though a number of leaks and rumours regarding OnePlus6T specifications and design have appeared on the internet before the formal launch.
The teaser invite of OnePlus 6T is titled with “Unlock The Speed” which is pointing towards that the upcoming smartphone is said to feature under- display fingerprint scanner. It must be noted that the sale invite will commence at at 10:00 AM IST on 17th October at Rs Rs. 999.
OnePlus reported, "At the centre of this milestone event will be the global OnePlus Community who continues to help build and shape the direction of OnePlus. Together, we will celebrate the announcement of the OnePlus 6T by hosting the biggest ever Community event in its history." One must note that the live- streaming of OnePlus 6T will be hosting at company official website, Facebook and YouTube.
OnePlus 6T has been listed on Amazon.in with 'Notify Me' button, though interested users can pre-register for the device by providing the basic details like name, Gmail and mobile number. The users will get the notification automatically from Amazon, once the OnePlu6T is available in stock.
Now moving to the global launch of the upcoming smartphone, OnePlus has posted on its Twitter account with the tagline"The #OnePlus6T is coming. Unlock The Speed on October 30." A short video has revealed that the company would unveil the OnePlus 6T on October 30 in New York at 11 AM EDT which is similar to 8:30pm IS which suggesting that India and global launch of OnePlus will conduct on the same day.
So far, the leaks have claimed that the OnePlus 6T is said to feature a 6.4-inch Optic AMOLED full-HD+ display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC, 6GB/8GB RAM and upto 256GB inter storage.
The flagship smartphone is expected to be bundled with a 3,700mAh battery which is larger than the 3,300mAh battery present in OnePlus 6. It is anticipated that the it will run on Android 9.0 Pie out-of-the-box.
It has been confirmed by OnePlus that the flagship smartphone will come with under- display reprintings scanners called with 'Screen Unlock'. Furthemore, the company has also announced that OnePlu6T won't support wireless charging or might be company would offer IP rating instead of water resistant.
