Oppo India, on this Thursday, has launched a special Diwali edition of its successor F1s smartphone. The new Oppo F1s Diwali edition comes at the same price of Rs 17,990 as its original model and the pre-bookings will start at Oppo concept stores from October 8 to October 13. Online availability of the handset will head on from October 14 via Snapdeal.
The latest edition of the smartphone is identical in terms of specifications with the original Oppo F1s, which was launched in August in India. The only difference this model gets is a redesigned rear panel with a ‘gilded Diwali Pattern’ or we can say a flame. The rear panel is also furnished with signatures of Hrithik Roshan and Sonam Kapoor, the brand ambassador of the company. This limited edition smartphone also features a Diwali Elements theme, which includes some special icons along with other changes.
As per the specifications are concerned, the Android smartphone is blessed with a 5.5-inch HD IPS display of resolution 720X1280 pixels with a protection of Corning Gorilla Glass 4. It is powered by an octa-core MediaTek MT6750 SoC coupled with Mali-T860 MP2 GPU and 3GB of RAM. The GSM based device runs Android 5.1 Lollipop and is backed up by a massive 3075 mAh battery.
Concerning the optical part, the Dual-SIM smartphone comes with a 16-megapixel front facing camera with a 1 /3.1-inch sensor and f/2.0 aperture, which is the main highlight of the device. A 13-megapixel rear camera is also provided by the company with PDAF autofocus, a f/2.2 aperture, and dual-LED flash. Other selfie expert features of the handset include Beautify 4.0 application for selfie editing, the Screen Flash feature, and a Selfie Panorama feature, which is used to stitch three selfies together.
Apart from this, the handset comes with 32GB of inbuilt storage which can be further expanded up to 128GB via microSD card. Connectivity options on the board include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS, USB OTG, and Bluetooth v4.0. Sensor part, on the other hand, includes a proximity sensor, ambient light sensor, digital compass, and accelerometer.
