Oppo, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer has officially announced that it would be planning to unveil a new Oppo Find X flagship smartphone in its Find series expected to be unveiled on 19th June at an event in Paris. As the days are passing the leaks of upcoming Oppo flagship smartphone have been increasing day-by-day.
The leaks are indicating to us how the smartphone looks like in terms of design. An individual website has been created by Oppo for its upcoming flagship smartphone with a tagline that reads, “Explore is the eternal home of the Find Collection”. It is pointing towards that the Oppo Find X would come with some advanced technologies and features.
One of the tipsters from China has shared some of the specifications of Oppo flagship smartphone. The leaks are suggesting that the smartphone would bring some top-notch specifications.

According to Indian tipster Ishan Agarwal, the OPPO Find X will feature a 6.42-inch Super AMOLED display, 19.5:9 aspect ratio and a screen resolution of 2340 x 1080 pixels. It seems that the Find X would measure 156.7 x 74.2 x 9.6 mm, which revealing that the gadget might feature broader edges around the corners. The weird aspect ratio hinting that the Oppo flagship smartphone could come with a notch on top of the display which has been commonly found in flagship smartphones these days. The gadget is likely to be available in two color options: Bordeaux Red and Glacier Blue.
It is anticipated that Oppo Find X would be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC paired with 8 GB RAM and 256GB internal storage. The Oppo Find 7 supported 2K resolution even on a smaller 5.5-inch display though it is expected that the Oppo upcoming flagship smartphone also comes with 2K resolution. The flagship smartphone is likely to run on Android 8.1 Oreo skinned with Oppo's custom Color OS 5.1.
The recently launched Xiaomi Mi 8 Explorer Edition and Apple iPhone X are the two smartphones that feature a 3D facial recognition. Oppo would also join the race of Xiaomi and Apple and it is expected that the Chinese company would also offer 3D facial recognition in its upcoming flagship smartphone.
Previously in last quarter of 2017, the rumors disclosed that both Xiaomi and Oppo were working on 3D face recognition feature similar to Apple iPhone X. Xiaomi recently revealed Mi 8 Explorer Edition with an advanced face scanning feature and now it seems that Chinese company would be planning to launch Oppo Find X by offering similar feature on the smartphone.
As posted by Indian tipster Ishan Agarwal, Oppo Find X is speculated to pack dual 20 MP +16 MP rear cameras and 25 MP front-facing camera. Under the hood, it would be powered by a 3,730 mAh battery and also support quick- charge technology. In terms of connectivity, the Oppo Find X would come with dual- sim support, Bluetooth, GPS, NFC and Wi-Fi 802.11ad.
It is worth noting that all the aforementioned specifications are a pinch of salt and the actual specifications of Find X would be revealed at an official launch event. As of now, it is not confirmed whether the Chinese company would launch Find X in India or not.
Earlier this year in Mobile World Congress (MWC), the Chinese company had revealed dual camera technology with 5x optical zoom. A tipster from China claims that Oppo Find X would bring a similar technology. He also suggested that the flagship smartphone would pack a larger 4,000mAh battery along with the support of Super VOOC flash charging.
However, it is not confirmed that whether smartphone comes with 4,000mAh battery or not, but it is rumored to come with OPPO’s new super-fast flash charging technology through which the smartphone can charge fully in just 15-minutes. The recent reports have claimed that Oppo Find X would be equipped with features such as under-display fingerprint sensor and support 5G connectivity, as tipster has not disclosed any information regarding these features for Find X.
Find 7 is the last smartphone in Oppo Find Series smartphone which was launched previously in 2014 and now the company would be planning to update its Find series by launching Oppo Find X. Currently, Oppo has launched the Realme 1 budget segment smartphone in India on 15th May at a starting price of Rs 8,990 for 3GB RAM+ 32Gb internal storage and goes up to Rs 13,990 for 6GB RAM+128GB internal storage.
