Oppo, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer company has started working on its first foldable smartphone which is all set to unveil at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona in February 2019. The information of Oppo’s first foldable smartphone has been announced by Oppo's Product Manager Chuck Wang.
Currently, the Wang has not revealed the specifications of the foldable device but reported that Oppo will also be working on a 5G smartphone that is expected to be unveiled in 2020 that could be part of the company's premium Find series. Furthermore, Wang also stated that Oppo will be planning to release all- screen design phone with a hole in the selfie-camera that might be for the on-screen camera which is expected to be unveiled in 2020.

It seems that foldable smartphones will be a trend in 2019 as various smartphone manufacturers such as Samsung, Apple, LG, Huawei, Xiaomi are working on this technology. LG is likely to unveil its first foldable smartphone at CES 2019 in January. Also, leaks so far claim that Apple is also planning to introduce the foldable smartphone by 2020.
