After a long wait, Oppo R11 has finally made its way to the smartphone market on Tuesday. The highlighting features of the handset are its dual rear camera setup, Android 7.1 Nougat, and its 20-megapixel selfie shooter. It will be available in China on Saturday, June 10, 2017, but the pricing details are yet to be unveiled by the company.
However, the recent rumours and reports point the pricing of the new Android handset to be USD 485 (Rs 31,200 approx). Oppo has introduced the device in three colour variants including Black, Gold, and Rose Gold. In term of design, the Oppo R11 seems to be blessed with a sleek metal unibody along with a home button housed at the front chin, which presumably packs a fingerprint scanner underneath.
Concerning the specifications, the Dual-SIM smartphone features a 5.5-inch full-HD display with a resolution of 1080x1920 pixels and runs the latest Android 7.1 Nougat. It is powered by the Snapdragon 660 processor coupled with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of inbuilt memory space. It is backed up by a 2900mAh battery, which is rated to deliver up to a day’s worth of mixed usage. Connectivity options on the board include 4G LTE, 3.5mm audio jack GPS, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth.
The optical part of the GSM smartphone includes a dual rear camera setup with one 20-megapixel and another 16-megapixel sensor coupled with a dual-LED flash. The rear camera, being the highlighting feature of the handset also offers 2X optical zoom, Qualcomm Spectra ISP, Portrait Mode, and more features. A 20-megapixel front shooter is also provided by the company for selfie enthusiasts.
