Oppo Launched F3 Black Limited Edition Smartphone in India

After the launching of its F3 smartphone in Gold variant earlier this month in India, Oppo has now unveiled the Black edition of the handset in the country, which will also be exclusively available via Flipkart with a price tag of 19,990.

As we all know very well that the company is the official sponsor for the Indian Cricket team, this limited edition variant is believed to be introduced to celebrate the commencement of the ICC Champions Trophy. Oppo F3 BCCI Limited Edition will be auctioned just a day before the legendary India vs. Pakistan match (Sunday, June 4) and will be available on June 4 via offline and online stores across the country.

Will Yang, Brand Director, OPPO India, on the launch of the black version of Oppo F3 gave the statement that “The colour ‘Black’ is synonymous with style and suave. With a stylish edge to the new OPPO F3, we aim to give consumers a chance to make a style statement. With this auction, we aim to contribute towards the growth of the sport in India. We are proud and honoured to have this opportunity and be associated with the most loved sport in India.”

Apart from the colour, rest of the specifications will remain same, as the Android smartphone also comes with a 5.5-inch full-HD In-Cell TFT 2.5D curved display with a resolution of 1080x1920 pixels, Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection and a pixel density of 401ppi. It is powered by a 1.5GHz MediaTek MT6750T6 octa-core SoC paired with Mali-T860 GPU and 4GB of RAM. It runs ColorOS 3.0 based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow and packs 64GB of inbuilt memory space, which can be expanded up to 128GB via microSD card.

In term of optics, the Dual-SIM handset is blessed with a dual selfie camera with one 16-megapixel, and double view wide-angle camera that has an 8-megapixel sensor. It is backed up by a 3200mAh non-removable battery and also features a fingerprint sensor embedded in the home button, which has been claimed to unlock the device in 0.2 seconds. Connectivity options on the board include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac (2.4GHz and 5GHz), Bluetooth v4.0, GPS/ A-GPS, 3.5mm audio jack, and Micro-USB.
