Oppo has given us a sudden surprise by listing a new smartphone on its global website, labeled Neo 5s. This new handset is the reminiscent of the Oppo Neo 5 in looks. It seems like just the refreshed version of Neo 5.
Let’s talk about its specifics; its unique design gives a decent and classy look to the handset with option of two colors - crystal white and sapphire blue. To make it slim in design, company has put lots of effort on its internal part and crafted Neo 5s with double-layer metallic structure. This craftsmanship is impeccable for offering sleekness at its best with heat dissipation capability.
This new smartphone is listed with a descent 8MP rear shooter which has F/2.2 large aperture. However, it disappoints on front side with 2-megapixel camera while most of the manufacturers are now equipping their handsets with quite better selfie camera. However, some tools and features are available to make your pictures and selfies perfect in every manner. It features a 4.5-inch IPS display with average screen resolution of 854x480 pixels. Company has made its touchscreen free-to-use with wet fingers and gloves on hand.
This dual SIM handset supports 4G connectivity on both SIM. OPPO Neo 5s takes the power from Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 64-bit Snapdragon 410 CPU which works with quad-core 1.2GHz processor for boasting performance. 1GB RAM and Adreno 306 compliment the device’s performance. It is backed by 2000 mAh Li-Po battery and has 8GB built-in storage which can further be expandable upto 128GB using microSDcard.
It runs on Color OS 2.0.1 which is based on Android 4.4.2 KitKat OS. You can also experience customization at best level with Gesture support. The device is available at €160 in some markets. No information regarding its India availability yet.
