Panasonic, the Japanese tech giant has expanded its P- series by launching the P90 in the Indian market. The Panasonic P90 is an affordable smartphone which is being offered by Panasonic. The company has launched the smartphone in three color options: Blue, Gold, and Black. 9.
The key highlighting feature of the smartphone is that it features a Corning Gorilla Glass on the top which protects the gadget from scratches and damages, claims company and this feature has been rarely available in an affordable smartphone.

The camera app is preloaded with Beauty mode, Panorama mode, Zero Shutter Delay and among others. The Panasonic P90 comes with Smart Action and Smart Gestures that lets users operate numerous functions on their gadgets easily.
The Panasonic P90 Price has been priced at Rs 5,599. The smartphone is available for purchase from (20th June) today onwards via offline retail stores exclusively. At the price point, the Panasonic P90 will have to face stiff competition from Xiaomi, Oppo and among others.
Pankaj Rana, Business Head, Mobility Division of Panasonic India stated, “Post our association with Corning, we are happy to launch another P-series device, P90, with Corning Gorilla Glass protection which will keep the device protected from all damage and scratches. The stylish device is launched to target the youth, letting them explore the new innovation and technology.”
The Panasonic P90 comes with better specifications as compared to Panasonic P95 that was launched in India back in May at a price tag of Rs 4,990. The Panasonic P90 features a display and having a screen resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels. In terms of security, the smartphone has 2.5D curved Corning Gorilla glass on the top which protects the gadget from scratches and gadgets.
Under the hood, it is powered by a MediaTek MT6737 paired with 1GB of RAM and 16GB internal storage with an option to extend further up to 128GB by using a memory card. It runs on outdated Android Nougat-out-of -the- box integrated with Smart Action and Smart Gestures features.
In terms of photography, the Panasonic P90 packs a 5MP rear camera and a 5MP front-facing camera. Both the front as well as the rear cameras featuring an LED flash. The camera app of the smartphone is equipped with modes including Zero Shutter Delay, Beauty mode and Panorama mode and among others.
The connectivity options in the P90 are 4G LTE, VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS and a micro USB port with USB OTG support. Sensors on the board include an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, and proximity sensor. It is armed with a 2400mAh battery. The dimensions of the smartphone are 143x71.8x9.3 mm and weigh 151.7 grams.
