Razer, which is known for manufacturing gaming smartphones has been continuously working to offer better gaming smartphone with improved specs and advanced technologies.
Chen Xiaoping, VP of Razer had previously announced that the Razer Phone 2 has been in the development stage from last few months and some of the specifications surfaced on the internet.
If the rumors are to be believed then the Razer Phone 2 is expected to be unveiled on 10th October. Previous reports suggested that the Razer Phone 2 would unveil on December and Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC. It’s quite disappointing that an alleged Razer Phone 2 looks similar to first Razer Phone in terms of design.
Since the launch of the first Razer Phone, the other smartphone manufacturers have started offering edge-to-edge displays along with bezel-less around the sides. It looks like that the Razer designers haven’t got the new memo and the design of the upcoming Razer gaming smartphone looks outdated.
Obviously, the Razer smartphones come under niche category which is specifically designed for the gaming purpose.
As we already mentioned that the Razer is likely to unveil its second gaming smartphone on 10th October which is less than a year when Razer had unveiled its first gaming smartphone in November 2017. Some of the key specifications and design of an alleged Razer Phone appeared on benchmarking sites.
The Razer Phone 2 is likely to come with 16:9 aspect ratio, QHD resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. As per the listings of Geekbench, the Razer Phone 2 could be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor coupled with 8GB RAM. Most probably,
It could get 512GB internal storage which is also offered in recently launched Samsung Galaxy Note 9, Apple iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max.
Razer is likely to offer 4,000mAh battery in its upcoming gaming smartphones. A recent report has revealed that the Razer Phone 2 would be equipped with LED lights which notifies the users regarding the alerts. It’s quite surprising in a recently leaked images does not have such kind of lights.
