The Oppo-spinoff- Realme C1 is all set to launch new variants in India. It has teased the photos of upcoming model on Flipkart by which we can say that the models will have an entertainment-focus. At first, it was considered that the company altogether will launch a new smartphone- rumoured as Realme A1 and anticipated as Realme 3 but Realme confirmed that the teaser on Flipkart indicates the launch of the new versions of the Realme C1 in India.
Flipkart taking it responsibly has built a microsite to tease the new versions of the Realme C1. The teaser shows that the smartphone will have a notch and also suggests some entertainment and gaming focused features which points that the new version will have more storage, improved gaming performance with more RAM and more battery capacities. In the teaser, the new version is called “Entertainment Ka Boss” i.e. Boss of Entertainment.
In September 2018, the Realme C1 was launched which was priced at Rs 6,999 for 2GB RAM and 16GB ROM variant. And after two months i.e. in November the price hiked which made the cost of the smartphone Rs 7,999.

The Realme C1 comes with a 6.2-inch display with an iPhone X-like display notch and the device is powered by the the octa-core Snapdragon 450 SoC and runs Color OS 5.1 custom skin based on Android 8.1 Oreo. if design is to be considered then it has a glass panel on the back and a notable chin below the display.
In terms of optics, the new Realme C1 smartphone has a dual rear camera- 13 megapixel and 2 megapixel camera setup. In the front, the smartphone has 5 megapixel camera with AI Face Unlock support. It comes with 2GB RAM and 16GB ROM which is be expandable up to 256GB via microSD card slot. The dual-SIM smartphone has a massive 4,230mAh battery capacity.
Realme, at present has the Realme U1, Realme 2, Realme 2 Pro, and Realme C1. the company was launched as a sub-brand of Oppo in May 2018 in which it launched its first smartphone namely- Realme 1. After the success of the Realme 1, the company made an announcement in which it stated the separation from Oppo.
The company is also planning to expand its lineup. As per the reports, CEO Madhav Sheth said that this quarter, the Realme 3 might be launched. And also mentioned that the company is working on a 48MP camera smartphone.
Earlier in January, Realme announced that it has crossed the mark of having 4 million users. The company also disclosed that in less than five months, it sold more than two million Realme 2 units since August 2018.
