Realme U1 is now available in 3GB | 64GB variant on Amazon as well as realme own website at INR 10,999 as announced on the twitter by the company. For those who want to know more, learn that Realme U1 Selfie Centric Smartphone was launched in the Indian market on November 28 at an event in New Delhi.
Realme U1 is the first smartphone in the Realme U-Series and the company made efforts to offer great photography features in the Realme U1. It is the first smartphone in the world that runs on recently unveiled Helio P70 processor. The highlighting features of Realme U1 are a larger 6.3-inch display, waterdrop- shaped display notch, dual rear sensor, 25MP selfie snapper, AI facial recognition technology and more.
To recall, Realme separated from Oppo to make its own identity in the smartphone segment. The pricing and availability details of the Realme U1 have been unveiled by the company at the launch event in New Delhi.
In India, the Realme U1 comes with a starting price of Rs 11,999 for basic 3GB RAM/32GB storage and goes up to Rs 14,499 for the 4GB RAM/ 64GB storage model. It will be available for purchase from December 5 at 12 PM IST exclusively at Amazon.in. It has been launched in Ambitious Black, Brave Blue, and Fiery Gold color options. Now the company also offers 3GB 64GB variant at INR 10,990.
As a part of launch offers, the users can avail an instant cashback of 5 percent only on SBI cards and no-cost EMI options on Realme U1. Apart from that, it has been bundled with cashback of Rs 5,750 from Reliance Jio as well as 4.2TB complimentary 4G data.

The Realme U1 features a 6.3-inch full-HD+ LCD display along with 19.5:9 aspect ratio. The smartphone offers 90.8 percent screen-to-body ratio, 409ppi pixels density, 450 nits peak brightness and the screen resolution of 1080x2340 pixels. The company has offered 2.5D curved glass and Gorilla Glass 3 which protects the device from scratches and damages. From the software front, the Realme U1 runs on Android 8.1 Oreo layered with Android 8.1 Oreo.
Inside the Realme U1, there is an octa-core MediaTek Helio P70 SoC coupled with ARM G72 GPU. For storing content, the smartphone gets 3GB/4GB RAM and 32GB/ 64GB inbuilt storage which can be further extended up to 256GB by using a micro SD card.
For photography, the Realme U1 has dual sensors on the rear panel consisting of a 13MP primary sensor and a 2MP secondary sensor with an aperture lens of f/2.2 and f/2.4 respectively. The rear camera set up is accompanied by an LED flash. The camera app is preloaded with features such as Portrait Lighting, Slo-Mo video (up to 90fps), AI Scene Detection, and Bokeh effect. The rear panel also supports AI Face Unlock Feature.
For selfies and video calling, the Realme U1 has a 25MP Sony IMX576 sensor f/2.0 aperture, 1.8-micron pixels, and 4-in-1 pixels tech. The front camera set up comes with a Backlight mode, AI Beauty+ Mode which allows users to capture better selfies on the device. A Smarter Groupie feature is available in the front camera that automatically modifies for multiple subjects in a single photo.
The Realme U1 supports Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS/ A-GPS/ GLONASS, micro-USD port, OTG support, and 3.5mm jack as connectivity options. The smartphone has been equipped with an ambient light sensor, gravity sensor, gyroscope, and proximity sensor. A fingerprint sensor is positioned on the rear panel.
