Reliance subsidiary Lyf has launched another smartphone in the Water segment dubbed as Lyf Water 8. The smartphone is hanged with a price tag of Rs 10,999 and is available in Black and White color variants.
As for the specifications, the dual SIM based smartphone flaunts a 5-inch HD display having a resolution of 720x1280 pixels and is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor. It offers a pixel density of 294ppi. On the software end, the device runs on Android 5.1 based Lollipop operating system out of the box.
The GSM-based smartphone is enabled with VoLTE support. The device has the internal storage of 16GB, that can be further expanded up to 128GB via microSD card slot expansion and combined with 3GB of RAM.
As for the optics, it is loaded with a 13-megapixel camera at the rear end and a 5-megapixel front facing camera on the board. Both of the cameras are accompanied by an HDR and a flash module. The company claims that the features like ChromaFlash (front LED flash) and OptiZoom enhance the quality of images taken by phone specifically.
Dimensionally, the smartphone is measuring a 142mm x 70.5mm x 7.0mm. In terms of connectivity, the phone includes Bluetooth v4.0, USB 2.0, Micro USB, and USB OTG, in addition to 4G/ VoLTE. The Lyf Water 8 packs with a Lithium-ion 2600mAh battery, that is rated to deliver up to 10 hours of talk time and 320 hours on standby mode on a complete charge.
