Reliance Retail's Lyf image is continuously spreading and has now introduced the new Flame 5 smartphone in India. It is priced at Rs. 3,999, the new Lyf Flame 5 and will be available by means of offline stores like Reliance Digital and others. The Lyf Flame 5 dispatch comes just after the launching of the Wind 1 and Water 7 smartphones.

The Android 5.1 Lollipop-based Lyf Flame 5 bolsters dual SIM cards (regular SIM and Micro-SIM), keeping in mind that both the slots are 4G empowered, one slot card supports 4G at a time while the other slot card supports 2G only. The Lyf Flame 5 is featuring a 4-inch display with a resolution of 480x800 pixels and offers a pixel density of 233ppi and Asahi Dragontrail Glass. It is powered by a 1.5GHz quad-core processor combined with a Mali 400 MP2 GPU, and 512MB of RAM. The smartphone bears a 5-megapixel rear autofocus camera and a front 2-megapixel camera. There is an LED flashlight at the back panel. The back camera accompanies HDR, Panorama, face identification, smile shutter, burst mode, and a slow motion video features. The handset packs with a 4GB of inbuilt storage, which can be expandable up to 32GB via microSD card slot expansion.
For the connectivity, the Lyf Flame 5 incorporate 4G, Wi-Fi b/g/n, FM radio, 3.5mm sound jack, Bluetooth v4.0, GPS, and Micro-USB options. The main USP of the smartphone is it bolsters VoLTE (voice over LTE) with HD voice call functionality. It supports both 4G LTE groups in India - FDD-LTE Band 3 (1800MHz) and TDD-LTE Band 40 (2300MHz).
It is backed by a 1650mAh battery that is evaluated to convey up to 4.5 hours of talk time, and 150 hours of standby time. Dimensionally, it is measuring 124.5x64x10.9mm and weighs 117 grams.
