Samsung Galaxy A50, Galaxy A30 With 4,000mAh Battery, Infinity-U Displays Revealed

With the launch of its flagship "Galaxy S10" and the world's first ever foldable smartphone “Galaxy fold”. Samsung will roll out its Galaxy A Series with the launch of Galaxy A30 and Galaxy A50 models.

Both "A50" and "A30" smartphones feature a 6.4-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED Infinity-U display, 3D Glass design, 4000 mAh battery, internal memory expandable up to 512GB and both are powered by octa-core SoCs.

Samsung India has sent invitations for a press event on February 28 in Mumbai, to share the launch details of the Galaxy A Series phones where the hush-hush of its price, availability and specifications in India will be revealed.

“We are committed to providing meaningful progress to everyone for a better mobile experience, and that innovation starts with the upgraded Galaxy A Series,” stated DJ Koh, President and CEO of IT & Mobile Communications Division at Samsung Electronics and also added “People are changing the way they connect, and their smartphones need to keep up. Our new Galaxy A Series offers improvements to the essential features that will support these live interactions, with diverse options to meet their ever-changing needs.”

"A50" arrives with 25MP+5MP+8MP triple rear camera setup and "A30" characterizes a 16MP+5MP dual rear camera set-up.

Samsung presents "A50" in two variants - 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage along with 6GB RAM and 128GB memory and "A30" will be available in 3GB RAM and 32GB internal memory and 4GB RAM and 64GB storage. Other specifications of both the gadgets include fast charging, Samsung Pay2, face unlock Samsung's Artificially Intelligence (AI)-based camera Bixby Vision and other Bixby services along with an on-screen fingerprint scanner on "A50".
