Samsung, the giant Korean smartphone manufacturing firm had launched its Galaxy A7 (2017) smartphone in India with a price tag of Rs 33,490 back in March this year. Now, some reports came out of the blue that the company is working on the successor of the device. Recently an image of the alleged Samsung Galaxy A7 (2018) has been tipped on a GFX benchmarking website, which has also revealed some of the major specifications of the handset. The device is listed on the website with a model name SM-A730x, which is believed to be the alleged Samsung Galaxy A7 2018. The Samsung Galaxy A7 2017 was introduced with model number SM-A720x, that’s why it is getting assumed that the spotted device must be the upcoming Galaxy A7 (2018).
According to the GFXBench listings, the upcoming Galaxy A7 (2018) Android smartphone will be blessed with full HD display with a resolution of 1920 X 1080 pixels and 5 finger gesture support. The report further mentions that the handset will be powered by a 2.21 GHz octa-core processor coupled with Mali-G71 GPU, 4GB RAM and 32GB of inbuilt memory space, out of which 23GB is reserved for the users. The handset will be seen running Android 7.1.1 OS, however, there is no information regarding its battery and expandable storage in the listing.
In term of optics, the upcoming Dual-SIM smartphone is believed to come with a 16-megapixel autofocus camera with LED flash. A 16-megapixel front shooter is also provided by the company for shooting selfies. Additional features according to the GFX listings include Bluetooth and WiFi. Sensor part on the board is expected to include an accelerometer, gyroscope, light sensor and proximity sensor.
