Samsung India has officially announced that the Galaxy A9 Pro mobile is going for sale via Flipkart from Friday, at a reduced priced of Rs. 29,990. The price of the handset has been cut by Rs. 2,590 and will be available to buy in Black, Gold and White colors. It must be noted that the Samsung had launched this 4G powered smartphone in September 2016 with a price tag of Rs. 32,490, for the Indian market. At the official event, the company has also announced its association with the Phantom Films for Bold shorties campaign, which will have a series of short films shot using the Galaxy A9 Pro on a single charge.
To recall, the Galaxy A9 pro comes with a 6-inch full-HD (1080x1920 pixels) Super-AMOLED display along with a huge 5000 mAh battery. The handset supports dual-SIM and operates on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. This Samsung mobile has been further powered by a 1.8GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 processor coupled with 4GB of RAM. On the camera front, the Samsung Galaxy A9 Pro smartphone bears a 16-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, a f/1.9 aperture, and optical image stabilization (OIS), along with an 8-megapixel front camera that has a f/1.9 aperture. The handset has advanced fingerprint sensor situated on the Home button.

This Galaxy A9 Pro falls in the advanced category of mobiles that comes equipped with 3GB and above RAM, to facilitate smooth functioning, support for a large number of Apps, along with advance execution. The device has 32GB of internal storage that can be further expanded to 256GB by using microSD card. Apart from 4g LTE, the Samsung Galaxy A9 Pro also Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth v4.2, USB 2.0, and NFC. The top smartphone sensors included in the phone are the proximity sensor, ambient light sensor, accelerometer, magnetometer, and gyroscope.
