Samsung Galaxy J1 Expected to Go on Sale in Russia from Jan 23

The long-rumored smartphone of Samsung's upcoming J-series, called Galaxy J1 has been spotted on a Russian E-commerce website. By the courtesy of Hitechmail.ru, an image of this yet-to-be announced mobile phone has been surfaced over the cyberspace, which is clearly showing the actual look of handset.

To remind you, gadget is a talk of the town from a long time, where GFXbench and Sammobile had already revealed it almost specification before a proclamation. Hashing about the leaked specs, device has been claimed to be loaded with Google's Android 4.4.4 KitKat operating system instead of latest Android 5.0 Lollipop.

In terms of performance, handset will be integrated with an 1.2 GHz quad core Marvell processor alongside Vivante GC7000UL GPU to confer a pleasant mobile-experience. Touching the subject of display, reports of GFXbench suggesting about 4.8-inch touchscreen with pixel resolution of 480x800p, while a Russian website: Merlion has listed 4.3-inch TFT LCD display.

Memory-wise, upcoming handset will be arrayed with 1GB RAM along with 4GB of expandable internal memory. On imaging front, Galaxy J1 will be coupled with a 5-megapixel camera with LED flash and incorporate a front shooter of 5-megapixel.

Rest of the specs include, 4G LTE, Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi, GPS/A-GPS and microUSB 2.0 connectivity options. However, South Korean giant is still tight-lipped about its forthcoming heir, but informant has averred that smartphone will hit the marketplace Russia on January 23 and it will go on sale at RUB 10,990 that is approximately Rs. 10,000.
