Samsung on Thursday dispatched its Galaxy J3 otherwise known as Galaxy J3 (6) smartphone in India, initially uncovered a year ago in China. The cell phone has been priced at Rs. 8,990, and will be accessible in India only by means of e-commerce website Snapdeal from Thursday.
The Samsung Galaxy J3 (6) variation propelled in India highlights Dual-SIM support. It wears a 5-inch HD Super AMOLED display giving a resolution of 720x1280 pixels. The handset is fueled by a 1.5GHz quad-center processor combined with 1.5GB of RAM. It packs 8GB of inbuilt stockpiling which can be extended up to 128GB through microSD card support. The Android 5.1 Lollipop-based Galaxy J3 highlights the most famous Samsung TouchWiz UI on the top.

The greatest component of the Galaxy J3 (6) that the organization is touting is S Bike Mode, which once empowered consequently answers to calls with pre-recorded messages in 14 dialects. It is as per company claims the 'first ever' industry feature that is designed for two-wheeler drivers. The motto of the company behind this feature launch was to give the riders a distraction-free ride. Once the feature is activated, the caller is automatically notified through an automated answering system called "Smart Reply" that the smartphone user is busy.
S Bike Mode has a simple UI, that lets user view a complete list of calls that got rejected enroute. The Smart Reply option allows the user to select contacts that will receive a predefined text message with an estimate of when the user is likely to be available for a call based on a trip destination entered by the user before the starting of journey.
When the owner is riding, callers hear a pre-recorded message that informs them that the user is riding a two-wheeler and will be unable to take the call. When the feature is ON, the phone won't vibrate or ring, however, callers trying to reach the user can choose to press 1 to force their call to go through in case of an emergency. The users can acvtivate the feature either by visiting the Quick Settings panel or through the NFC tag that can be place either on to the fuel tank of the bike or on the rider's helmet, so as to to allow users activate or deactivate the mode with ease.
It dons an 8-megapixel back self-adjust camera with LED streak coupled with a 5-megapixel front-confronting camera. In terms of dimensions, the cell phone measures 142.3x71x7.9mm and carries a weight of 138 grams.
Aside from supporting 4G with additional support for Indian 4G groups as well, the handset incorporates many other connectivity features like 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and Micro-USB. The handset is upheld by a 2600mAh battery.
