Samsung, South-Korean giant is planning to add a new M series in its existing Galaxy J, Galaxy A lineup. Two new Samsung Galaxy M- series smartphones have been spotted on Geekbench website with the model numbers SM-M205F and SM-M305F which expected to be called with Galaxy M2 and Galaxy M3 respectively. The key specifications of both Galaxy M- series have surfaced on Geekbench.
As per the Geekbench Listing, Galaxy M series having model number SM-M205F will be powered by a Samsung’s Exynos 7885 processor based on same 14nm SoC which is similar to other Samsung Galaxy smartphones including Galaxy A7 (2018), Galaxy A8 (2018), and Galaxy A8 Plus (2018).
The listing also suggests that 7885 SoC will be coupled with 3GB of RAM and the device will run on Android 8.1 Oreo OS. The smartphone with model number SM-M205F has scored 1,319 4,074 benchmarking scores in single- core tests and multi-core tests respectively.
The leaks are suggesting that the new Galaxy M series will replace other Samsung mid-range smartphones such as Galaxy C, Galaxy J, and the Galaxy On. The upcoming Galaxy M series is likely to come with LCD displays to maintain its overall costs.

The Galaxy M2 with model number SM-M205F will come with 32GB and 64GB inbuilt storage. It might be coupled with 3GB and 4GB RAM variants respectively.
On another hand, Galaxy M- series with model number SM-M305 is likely to be called with Galaxy M3. It would be the upper-midrange phone in Galaxy M- series which is expected to come with 64GB and 128GB storage variants. These variants might be coupled with 4GB and 6GB of RAM.
As such no other information is available at the moment regarding the launch date of Galaxy M2 and Galaxy M3. It seems that Samsung would unveil the Galaxy M series smartphones in Asia, EMEA, and some European countries.
