Nobody ever thought that Samsung would amuse people by its creations in that way. September 3, the day which is scheduled for the innovation to come on the land of Berlin to put the eyes on stalks, brought Samsung Galaxy Note Edge. Have you ever imagined a Samsung device with curvy edges? So, this time, a device has been showcased at IFA 2014 with more classy looks and more stylish presentation- the Samsung Galaxy Note Edge.
A bent display is the miraculous engineering work of the craftsmen which has given this smartphone a completely noteworthy looks. Edges, which goes where the back panel has started. In simple words, goes to the end of the front panel to comfort you with ease of use. The bent display is made up of Company’s own flexible-display technology. To make you clear about the display of the device, I inform you that it has not a complete curved display, it has two in one screen- one is the Quad HD display (2,560 x 1,440) and the second one is thin bent strip in the form of display.
The bent display is showing few icons and widgets which give you the easy access of some important information when the phone is not in your hand and set aside on a table or somewhere else. In Samsung’s Unpacked Event at IFA has showed a complete view of the device with each angle. Using the side display is not an easy task.
What about the camera section, it can also be considered as a standalone application of the device. Like, if you are watching any video or clicking picture through phone’s camera, then the side display would show the setting controls. User can also access any app by simple one tap on the side screen. Samsung has not spoken a single word for the launch date and pricing detail.
When talking about the specifications, Samsung Galaxy Note Edge has received include 5.6-inch Quad-HD+ (1440+160x2560 pixel) Super AMOLED display, quad-core 2.7GHz processor, 3000mAh battery, Android 4.4 KitKat OS, 3GB RAM and many others. What the center of attraction is its curved edges with bent display. The side display is not just a show off by the Company but the intelligence and creativity, Company has added in the device is the key factor.
The Galaxy Note Edge will be available in Charcoal Black and Frost White colors and may reach in select market later this year. The event also brought most awaited Galaxy Note 4 which has not gined enough attention because of its almost identical features with its predecessor.
