Samsung Galaxy S5 mini with Custom UI and Heart rate Sensor Unpacked for Russia

Samsung, the renowned name in the smartphone manufacturing always lives in news for the reason of its several new inventions and technology updates. Again the Korean mobile maker is sparkling with a new smartphone, dubbed Galaxy S5 mini. The much rumoured and much anticipated smartphone is the younger brother of flagship handset Galaxy S5.

Folding the cover from the newly launched device, company has reduced the price of the mini variant to make it worthy for average people. The Galaxy S5 mini shares almost same features as Samsung Galaxy S5 which seems that the younger brother has inherited most of the features from its elder brother.

It sports 4.5-inch HD Super AMOLED display and offers the great screen output at the 720x1280 pixels resolution. A quad-core processor adds more value to the handset, clocking at 1.4GHz. The 1.5GB of RAM is quite attractive to offer smooth result while running several apps simultaneously on the device. The Galaxy S5 mini is clubbed with heart rate sensor and fingerprint scanner which is quite impressive features, provided by the Korean mobile manufacturer in the handset.

The 2,100mAh battery cannot be count as the impressive unit to deliver great battery backup. The IP67 certification blesses the device with the power of water and dust resistant. Ultra Power Saving mode of Galaxy S5 has also been bundled in the mini variant. The device has come initially for the Russian market only. It is expected that it will soon make entry in the global market.

Going more inside the device, penning them on the paper for 'spec-o-holic' reads, the smartphone has 16GB internal storage, 64GB expandable storage, 2G, 3G and 4G connectivity features, rear snapper of 8-megapixel clarity with LED Flash and a 2.1-megapixel front facing shooter.

The Samsung Galaxy S5 mini also comes with the Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, micro-USB 2.0 and NFC support and powered with company’s own UI on top of the Android KitKat platform. There is no price detail is available yet but it is expected that the phone will make entry in July and dipped in the four colors include Charcoal Black, Shimmery White, Electric Blue and Copper Gold.
