Samsung Galaxy S6, Galaxy S6 Edge Finally Gets Android 7.0 Nougat Update

Samsung, the giant Korean smartphone manufacturing firm has finally started delivering the Android 7.0 Nougat OTA update for its Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge smartphones. The update was initially planned to be introduced by the end of February, but due to having it in reviewing quality, the company made a delay announcement.

According to recent reports, the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge Android smartphone users have already started receiving the new update. A recent report by Sammobile states that users across some of the European countries have started receiving the most-awaited update. Some people also shared screenshots of the update.

The new Android update brings some ravishing UX changes for the handset, which includes new Quick panel and notifications, multi-window support, performance mode, and Samsung Pass. It also packs Samsung Cloud, which lets users sync information and data from any application to the cloud storage.

As a recall, Samsung UK had announced that the update was delayed, because the company was reviewing the quality of it, before rolling it out. This announcement pointed that there are some issues in the Android 7.0 Nougat updates for Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge users. However, now it seems like all the issues have been resolved, and all of the users will receive the updates in the upcoming days.

Samsung has also started rolling out Android 7.0 Nougat update for its Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge in previous month and also introduced its mobile payment service dubbed as Samsung Pay.
