In February, Samsung launched the Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2019) and now the company has silently launched the Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2019) Edition which carries a codename SM-P205. It flaunts an 8-inch Full HD screen, which under the hood carries the Exynos 7904 14nm processor mated with 3GB of RAM, runs on Android 9.0 (Pie), has an 8-megapixel back camera and a 5-megapixel selfie camera.
It also comes with support for S Pen along with a slot. It also includes Wi-Fi, 4G variant, USB Type-C support and holds a 4,200mAh battery.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2019) flaunts an 8.0-inch WUXGA TFT display with a screen resolution of 1920 × 1200 pixel and under the hood, it is powered by the Octa-Core Exynos 7904 14nm processor with Mali-G71 GPU.
In terms of the connectivity, the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2019) includes 4G LTE (Optional), Wi-Fi Direct, Bluetooth 5 LE, GPS, WiFi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz/5GHz), GLONASS, and USB 2.0 Type-C. The smartphone runs on the latest Android 9.0 Pie out of the box. It weighs 325 grams and measures 201.5 x 122.4 x 8.9mm. The handset is packed with the capacity of 4200mAh battery.

The smartphone comes with 3GB of RAM and 32BG of internal storage which can further be expanded via a microSD card slot up to 512GB.
In terms of the optics, the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2019) at the back comes with single 8MP camera sensor and at the front, the smartphone carries 5MP camera for selfies and video calling.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2019) will be available in two color options- Black and Grey. the smartphone will go on sale in Cambodia, Malaysia, Laos, Philippines, New Zealand, Thailand, Singapore, Vietnam and also in the UK through Carphone Warehouse.
