Samsung introduced a new Tizen-powered handset in India called Z2 on past Tuesday. The new smartphone will be available in Black, Wine Red and Gold color variants from Monday priced at Rs 4,590 on PayTm and Samsung’s offline retail stores.
The leading smartphone manufacturing firm claims that the Tizen-based device has been manufactured by its R&D team in Bangalore. Z2 is the first Tizen-based smartphone from Samsung which comes with 4G LTE feature. The newly launched smartphone also supports HD voice calling and VoLTE support.
The interesting fact about this device is that it can avail the Jio preview offer, a SIM by which you can get access to Reliance Jio services like Jio on demand, Jio beats, free unlimited data for 90 days and more.
The Tizen-based OS comes with 12 Indian regional languages and a feature of money transfer is also provided in it which allows you to transfer up to Rs 5,000 without any internet required. Talking about specifications, the latest smartphone is blessed with a 4-inch WVGA (480X800 pixels) display, which is powered by 1.5 GHz quad-core processor.
It comes with a 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash with a VGA front shooter for selfies. An inbuilt storage of 8GB with 1GB RAM is given by the company which is further expandable up to 128GB via microSD card. Samsung Z2 is backed up by 1500 mAh battery, which company claims can deliver up to 8 hours of 4G browsing.
