Tecno Mobile, which is a subsidiary of Transsion Holdings has debuted "CAMON iCLICK" smartphone in India. It is the first smartphone that comes with AI-powered camera feature which has been priced at Rs 13,999. The key highlights of the smartphone include 18:9 aspect ratio display and 16 -megapixel rear camera along with AI features. CAMON iCLICK AI-powered smartphone will be available for purchase in more than 35,000 retail shops throughout the country. The company is offering the smartphone in two color options: Midnight Black and Champagne Gold.

Telecom Operator, Vodafone is offering an additional cashback worth amounting Rs. 2,200 as well as free subscription of Vodafone Play for the duration of 3 months on the purchase of Tecno Camon iClick which brings down the price of the smartphone. The Vodafone cashback offer is applicable until 30th August 2018.
The Tecno Camon iClick has a metallic body, screen to body ratio whooping at 83.9 percent. At the front, the smartphone comes with 2.5D curved glass which helps to protect the smartphone. The fingerprint scanner is positioned on the rear panel, whereas the antenna bands are located at the edges of the smartphone.
The Tecno Camon iClick bears a 6-inch HD+ display, 18:9 aspect ratio, screen resolution of 720x1440 pixels and 500 nits brightness. The smartphone has an octa-core MediaTek Helio P23 MTK6763 SoC clocked at 2GHz. It is bundled with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage with an option to extend further by using a memory card.
In terms of optics,Tecno Camon iClick gets a single 16-megapixel rear camera with an aperture of f/1.8 and 4X flash support. For the selfie snapper, the smartphone sport a 20-megapixel selfie camera with AI beauty features, which automatically alters the skin softening while capturing selfies. The front camera has dual LED flash and also AI soft flash. The front camera comes with several features such as AI Beauty, AI auto scene detection, AI bokeh, superpixel, panorama mode, video chat with an adjustable flashlight and among others.
The company claimed that “TECNO has also added 64M super pixel function that takes three photos at a time and then synthesize into one photo that enables consumers to get three times better picture resolution as compared to normal photo mode.”
Under the hood, it is powered by a 3750 mAh battery which the company claims that smartphone delivers 9 hours of gaming,11 hours of web-browsing,13 hours of playing games, 23 hours of battery life, 30 hours of calling and 420 hours of standby time. In terms of connectivity, the smartphone has Wi-Fi, 4G, Bluetooth, 4G VoLTE, GPS and a micro USB port. Sensors on the board are Fingerprint Sensor, Ambient Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, and G-Sensor. The smartphone also has Facial Recognition Feature. It measures and weighs 158.6x75.8x7.3mm and 150 grams respectively.
Tecno, Hong- Kong based Transsion Holdings Company is offering 100 days' replacement warranty, one-month extended warranty as well as one-time screen replacement on the purchase of Tecno Camon iClick.
