Soon after launching G Pad 8.0 Tablet in India, the South Korean Multinational Electronics Company, LG has made official its Windows Phone 8.1-based smartphone, called Lancet. Notably, this gadget had been appearing in tidings since last month, and now it is finally available to buy from American mobile carrier: Verizon Wireless.
Coming to specifications of newly-launched smartphone, it features a 4.5-inch LCD screen, which offers a pixel resolution of 480 x 854p. Due to inclusion of Microsoft firmware, handset encompasses humanized digital assistant: Cortana, which is the well-known virtual assistant that learns user's routines and offers timely suggestions.
The device is compatible with Verizon LTE Network and it is powered by a 2100mAh Lithium Ion Battery, which has been stated to deliver upto 18.5 hours of usage time and 420 hours of standby time. However, details about the processor of phone have not been mentioned on the website of network provider, but a report of GSMArena suggests that it is powered by 1.2 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 410 SoC.
On the memory front, it is paired with 1GB RAM and 8GB of expandable internal storage, which can be extended upto 128 GB by using microSDX card. Touching the subject of camera, LG Lancet houses an 8-megapixel rear camera in its shell.
The prospective buyers can grab the device by paying $69.99 with a two-year contract and those who don't want to enter into two-year agreement can purchase it by paying $120. Here, a monthly payment plan has also been offered by corporation, in which folks need to pay $5 a month for 24 months.
