And now, Indian mobile maker: Lava has made a foray against those devices by announcing a brand-new mobile phone, Iris X8.
However, company has only posted a tagline on its official website, “Get ready to Do More! Coming Soon, Stay tuned to know more about Lava's latest flagship product” with a huge number '8', but specifications as well as pricing details are yet to be cataloged about its new creation. But, by the courtesy of FoneArena, almost aspects of mobile phone have come into view and report is suggesting that device might be proclaimed in coming days.
As per informant, this dual-SIM supported handset is engineered with a speedy and multitasking octa-core MediaTek (MT6592M) processor, which is clocked at 1.4GHz. On connectivity front, smartphone is housed with 3G, GPS, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n and Bluetooth v4.0 options.
Paired with a 2500mAh battery, handheld has been claimed to be decked with an 8-megapixel rear camera with dual LED Flash and BSI 3 Sensor. Additionally, a selfie snapper of 3-megapixel has been also mentioned. Running on Android 4.4 KitKat, Iris X8 bears a 5-inch HD IPS display with Asahi Dragontrail glass protection that produces a pixel resolution of 1280 x 720p.
In terms of memory, it's arrayed with 2GB RAM alongside 16GB of internal memory, which can be extended upto 32GB via a MicroSD card. Moreover, the upcoming scion of firm's X series will be available in Black and White color models with a price tag of Rs. 8,999.
