The Pre CES event seems to give a warm welcome to all media persons and industry analysts. So, every company has come out with their bizarre inventions, but HTC has chosen a matchless path, different from the others, to showcase its mid-range smartphone on the stage of CES, dubbed Desire 826. It has received the design from the Desire Eye and the name has given the felling of a follower device of Desire 820.
The anti-slip soft sides and the BoomSound front-facing stereo speakers can be seen in this new smartphone, but it uses Dolby Audio for the speakers. You will find UltraPixel snapper on the front panel, instead of the Desire Eye’s 13MP front-facing shooter. The HTC’s signature UltraPixel camera will definitely increase the selfie experience by offering brighter and clearer selfies in low lights.
Well, come to the specification side of this Desire 826, what we have found out is a 5.5-inch display is offering 1080p screen resolution. And, to power this big display, an octa-core Snapdragon 615 chipset which uses 64bit CPU architecture, to make the performance more faster and energy efficient. Being coupled with a 2GB RAM, this handset will be compelling enough for seamless experience while multiple applications will run simultaneously.
On the storage side, HTC Desire 826 is paired with a 16GB built-in storage and a microSD card slot for expandable storage. A 2,600mAh battery is crafted inside to bless the device with adequate power. This dual SIM handset supports nano SIM and will be able to support LTE connectivity. On the rear front, a 13-megapixel imager with LED flash and f/2.0 aperture is efficient enough, but not an improved one.
This plushy handset will come in four colors and will be served with Android Lollipop which will take the full use of the 64bit. Just few months after a flagship Desire 820 launching, the Company has showcased the follow-up phone, seems quite odd. But soon, you will become habitual of this kind of launches. Company has also manufactured Dot View cases for the recently announced handset. Desire 826 is expected to make debut in Asia this month.
