The launch date of Vivo V9 rescheduled from 27th March to 23rd March in India. The company has recently sent the revised invites to the media for confirming the launch date of Vivo V9 in India. Globally, it will unveil on 22nd March just one day before the India launch. As per the leaked images, it is rumored that Vivo V9 could feature a vertically aligned dual- camera setup on the rear panel of the smartphone and bezel-less display with a top-notch just similar to iPhone X.
The revised invite sent out by the company does not provide the detailed information regarding specifications of Vivo V9. In the revised invite, the company has revealed the images of dual rear camera setup which we have seen earlier in the leaked images. The smartphone has spotted on e-commerce website of India which disclosed the price of V9 nearly IDR 4,999,000 (approximately Rs. 23,700). It is rumored that it would be available at a price of Rs. 23,700 in India, though the company has not revealed the price of the smartphone right now, the exact price of the phone will be unveiled during the official launch.

According to the previous leak reports and listings of e-commerce website revealed some of the specifications of the upcoming smartphone such as 6-inch full-HD+ display along with the screen resolution of 1080 x 2160 pixels. It is speculated that it will be powered by a Snapdragon 660 SoC coupled with 4GB of RAM and 64GB internal storage. It will run on Android 8.0 Oreo-based FunTouch OS 4.0. It is likely to come with a dual- rear camera setup sport a 12-megapixel and 8-megapixel camera sensors. For the selfie snapper, the company reported that the Vivo V9 is said to feature a 24-megapixel front-facing camera. It seems that it could come with several advanced features such as face unlock, fast charging support.
According to the retail box in Vivo V9 which has been currently appeared on Twitter, the new smartphone will be promoted with FIFA World Cup 2018. The retail box of V9 is looking similar to iPhone packaging.
