Now the Vivo Y12 is also available in 3GB RAM and 64 GB internal storage variant. Starting available from both online & offline stores and at a price tag of INR 11,990.
Chinese smartphone manufacturer Vivo has finally launched a new budget phone in its Y-Series in India. It is entitled as the Vivo Y12 and has been produced only in a single storage variant of 4GB RAM and 32GB internal storage, which attracts the price sticker of INR 12,490. Available in two colour options of Aqua Blue and Burgundy Red, the Vivo Y12 will be on sale starting from today via both online and offline modes.
Listed on Amazon India website, the phone will avail its potential buyers with benefits such as up to Rs 9,350 off on exchange and EMI options starting at the lowest amount of INR 588. Moreover, one-year manufacturer warranty on the device and six months warranty on the accessories inside the box, including USB power adaptor, micro USB to USB cable, protective cover, batteries, is being provided with the smartphone.
Earlier, the smartphone was slated to launch in the country soon via a Mumbai-based retailer Mahesh Telecom, alongside the 2019 Vivo Y15. However, the Vivo Y12 has rolled out to go on sale we expect an early arrival of the 2019 Vivo Y15 in the country as well.

The Vivo Y12 gets a 6.35-inch Halo FullView HD+ LCD capacitive panel with an aspect ratio of 19.3:9 and water drop-style notch as well. The smartphone offers dual-SIM (Nano) support and gets powered by octa-core MediaTek Helio P22(MT 6762) processor in association with 4GB of RAM. It runs on latest Android 9 Pie operating system based on custom UI called Funtouch OS 9.
On the camera front, the Vivo Y12 is blessed with a triple rear camera setup which consists of a 13-megapixel primary sensor, 8-megapixel super wide-angle sensor, and 2-megapixel depth sensor. Besides this, a host of features including HDR, Live Photos, Portrait Mode, Time-Lapse, Panorama, and Super Wide-Angle Camera are in the list to take photography to the next level.
For shooting selfies, the smartphone maker studded the smartphone’s front with an 8-megapixel camera sensor with supportive features such as AI face beauty and portrait bokeh.
In terms of connectivity, the Vivo Y12 comes with 4G LTE, Bluetooth v5.0, dual-band Wi-Fi, FM radio, Micro-USB port with USB OTG support, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. While for fast unlocking of the phone, a fingerprint sensor is placed on the back of the smartphone. Other than this, the Y12 with 32GB internal storage is featured with numerous sensors including magnetometer, ambient light sensor, accelerometer, and a proximity sensor.
In dimensions, the Vivo Y12 measures 159.43mm in length, 76.77mm in width and 8.92mm in height while it tips at 190.5 grams on weighing scale. The smartphone is backed with a massive battery setup of 5000mAH which is further supported by pre-installed power-saving technologies for better-extended use of the battery in a single charge.
