Vivo, the Chinese tech giant had launched Y83 this year in June at a price tag of Rs 14,990. Now the company has silently launched the upgraded version of Y83 called with Y83 Pro. The information of Y83 Pro launch in India has been posted by Mumbai based retailer Mahesh Telecom on Twitter.
It seems that most of the specifications of Y83 Pro and Y83 are identical to each other excluding some changes in the camera setup which has been modified by Vivo. The Vivo Y83 Pro comes with dual rear cameras whereas the regular Y83 launched with a single rear camera.
Furthermore, the retailer said that the Vivo Y83 Pro has been priced at Rs 15,990 which is available for pre-orders via offline retail stores throughout India. As of now, it is not confirmed when the smartphone will be available for purchase. It will be made available in four color options including Black, Aurora White, Red, and Gold.
As we stated above, the major difference in between Vivo Y83 and Vivo Y83 Pro is in the camera set up and the remaining specifications of both smartphones are same.
The Vivo Y83 came with a single 13-megapixel rear camera, whereas the Vivo Y83 Pro comes with dual rear cameras consisting of 13-megapixel primary sensor and 2-megapixel secondary sensor. The Y83 Pro gets a 8-megapixel selfie camera similar to Y83. The camera app is preloaded with AI Face beauty mode.
Both Vivo Y83 and Vivo Y83 Pro have 6.22-inch HD+ FullView 2.0 IPS display which offers the screen resolution of 720x1520 pixels and 19:9 aspect ratio as well as notch on the top.
The Vivo Y83 Pro bundled with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage but currently there is no information which processor the company would offer in it. The Y83 Pro gets a battery backup of 3260mAh.
One must note that the Chinese smartphone manufacturer has not officially announced the launch of Vivo Y83 Pro in India.
