Vivo, the Chinese tech giant has expanded its product line by launching the Vivo Y93s in the China market. The Vivo Y93s and the previously launched Vivo Y93 are identical to each other in terms of design, while the former comes with improved specifications such as more storage and different processor.
The Vivo Y93s has an octa-core MediaTek Helio P22 SoC paired with 128GB of internal storage. On another hand, the Vivo Y93 is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 439 SoC paired with 64GB of internal storage. Both of the smartphones have 6.2-inch display along with water drop- shaped notch and dual rear cameras.
The Vivo Y93s has been priced at CNY 1,698 for single 4GB RAM + 128GB storage model, The price of Vivo Y93s is a slightly higher than the Vivo Y93.
The Vivo Y93s shares most of the specifications with Vivo Y93 except storage and processor. The Vivo Y93s comes with a 6.2-inch HD+ display that offers 19:9 aspect ratio and the screen resolution of 720x1580 pixels. It runs on Android 8.1 Oreo OS layered with Funtouch OS 4.5 on the top.

Inside Vivo Y93s there is an octa-core Helio P22 MT6762 chipset. For storing content, the company has offered 4GB of RAM and 128GB internal storage that can be further extended up to 256GB by using a microSD card.
For the camera department, the Vivo Y93s packs dual 13MP+2MP sensors on the rear panel. Up front, there is an 8MP sensor that can be used to capture selfies and video calling. The rear camera set up is preloaded with AI features. Great features such as Face Wake, AI beautification, and AR stickers are available in the front camera set up.
The company’s owned Jovi AI assistant feature is also available in the Vivo Y93s that understands the voice commands instructed by the user and executes the results as per the users commands.
It supports 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS as connectivity options. It is armed with a massive 4,030mAh battery under the hood. The dimensions of the smartphone are 155.11x75.09x8.28mm.
As of now, there is no confirmation when the Vivo would unveil the Y93s in other markets outside China.
