Xiaomi has shocked everyone by announcing the 100W Super Charge Turbo fast charging technology which is claimed to charge a 4,000mAh smartphone fully in just 17 minutes. The CEO Lin Bin shared the video on a leading website in which the tech is seen taking a dig on the Super VOOC Flash Charge of the Oppo.
In the video, we can see that a 3,700mAh phone is being charged by the Oppo Super VOOC technology which only charges 65 percent in 17 minutes and on the other hand there is 100W Super Charge Technology of Xiaomi which charges 4,000mAh smartphone fully in the same 17 minutes. Additionally, the Redmi Head Lu Weibing announced that the tech is being produced in mass and the first to adopt it will be the Redmi phone.

The technical details are under wraps till now. The CEO Lin Bin shared the video which was later re-posted on YouTube in which the tech is seen showing its capabilities of fast charging. Aforementioned, it charged a 4,000mAh smartphone fully in just 17 minutes while the Oppo's proprietary Super VOOC Flash Charge fast charging technology charged a 3,700mAh phone to 65 per cent in the same 17 minutes.
The company has not yet uttered a word about the launch of the tech in the market and about the integration with the smartphone. A leading website said that the Super Charge Turbo is produced in mass by the Redmi team by which we can say that the Redmi smartphone will be the first to integrate it with. There is no information about the technology and launch date.
Redmi is working on a new flagship smartphone which will get power from the Snapdragon 855 SoC. and it is speculated that this device might be the first to integrate the Super Charge Turbo. But these are just speculation, so just wait for the company to announce anything related to it.
