Xiaomi, the renowned Chinese smartphone maker, was in the news last week for the launch of Redmi 4 Smartphone in India and for the launch of Mi Home Store in Bengaluru. Now, the company is again in the headlines, thanks to the cryptic tweet by the Xiaomi India head 'Manu Kumar Jain'. The tweet from the company's India head has created an atmosphere of ripe speculations that Xiaomi is soon going to launch the Xiaomi Mi 6 or the recently launched Mi Max 2 in India.
Jain has tweeted that Xiaomi India's use of the 23rd day of a month for the first flash sale of a new product has been a massive hit. It must be noted that the company sold 250,000 Redmi Note 4 units on January 23 in its first flash sale, and the same number of units of the Redmi 4A were sold on March 23, its first flash sale, and again 250,000 Redmi 4 units were sold on May 23, its first flash sale. Jain notes this, alongside an openly ended question mark wondering what should be sold on July 23. This has created a rumor in the Indian smartphone market Xiaomi may launch a new product in July, with a subsequent flash sale on July 23.
