MI Mix 2S Launch Set For 27th March

Xiaomi, China-based smartphone manufacturer company is all set to launch its next MI series smartphone, dubbed as Mi MIX 2S. The company is going to unveil the smartphone on 27th March especially in Shanghai in China. Xiaomi, MI Mix 2S will launch in India a couple of months after unveiling in China. Ahead of launching the smartphone, the company has officially posted a couple of teaser videos of Mi MIX 2S on the popular website, Weibo. The current teasers did not disclose any detailed information regarding the upcoming smartphone as already speculated earlier.

The first teaser of Mi MIX 2S spotted with paintings by famous artists such as Van Gogh and there is an image that recommends a face unlock scanner which is positioned on the unlock button. The second teaser suggests famous paintings and camera sections pointing hint towards the availability of new AI-based support features.

It is anticipated that the upcoming Xiaomi Mi MIX 2S smartphone will not come with major changes in terms of design as compared to Mi MIX 2.The changes or improvements can be seen in the camera section of Mi MIX 2S. Earlier leak reports claimed that the Mi MIX 2S said to feature a vertically stacked dual rear setup which looks similar to Apple iPhone X along with AI-based features. It is rumored that the smartphone will come with a front- facing notch for the selfie camera which brought from the iPhone X, however, some of the sources have opposed the claim.

Additionally, the Chinese company has officially confirmed that Mi MIX 2S comes with wireless charging support and there will be a glass cover on the rear panel of the smartphone. Mi MIX 2S will be powered by latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC and received an AnTuTu score of 273,741.

The predecessor of Mi MIX 2S is MI MIX 2 bearing a 5.99-inch touchscreen display and embedded with an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor coupled with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. In terms of optics, Mi MIX 2 brings a 12-megapixel rear camera and a5-megapixel front-facing camera for shooting videos and capturing selfies.
