Xiaomi, the Chinese phone maker, has recently expanded its online partners for its flagship product Mi 5 smartphone, which was launched back in March this year. Earlier the phone could only be purchased through Xiaomi’s own online store, Mi.com and that too only via a flash sale.

The company has now officially confirmed its new online partners on Twitter which includes the names of popular e-commerce websites like Amazon India, Flipkart, Snapdeal and Tata Cliq.
At the time of launch the phone was only available in a single variant, but recently, Hugo Barra, the Global Vice President of Xiaomi has confirmed that the company would soon be releasing the phone in Black color as well.
A super quick recap of the specifications: Mi 5 features a 5.15-inch full-HD display with curved 3D ceramic glass that gives a resolution of 1080x1920 pixels as well as a pixel density of 428ppi. The Dual-SIM smartphone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor coupled with Adreno 530 GPU. The device comes with an internal storage capacity of 32GB. The Mi 5 packs a 3000mAh battery and supports Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 which is 20 percent faster than its predecessor, the Quick Charge 2.0.
On the camera front, the device sports a 16-megapixel primary camera with LED flash, PDAF and comes with sapphire glass protection lens. The rear camera gets support by a 4-megapixel camera on the front side. Dimensionally, the GSM-based handset measures 144.5x69.2x7.25mm and carries a weight of 129 grams. The device alongside the presence of standard connectivity options like 4G, GLONASS, NFC, Bluetooth 4.2, VoLTE support, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/ac gives some extra features too like Fingerprint scanner and Infrared sensor.
