Xiaomi, Chinese smartphone manufacturer has announced that it is all set to unveil Xiaomi next smartphone dubbed as Mi Mix 2S with latest Snapdragon 845 SoC. It is anticipated that the event will be conducted in China on 27 March 2018. The image of Mi Mix 2S has surfaced on Chinese social networking website Weibo suggesting that the upcoming Mi Mix 2S is powered by a latest Snapdragon 845 SoC on the board and also has an AnTuTu benchmark score of 273,741 of the phablet.
The image of Xiaomi Mi Mix 2S does not reveal more information about the upcoming phablet rather than the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC, an AnTuTu score, and launch date. According to the previous reports, it is rumored that Xiaomi Mi Mix 2S boasts a 5.99-inch full HD+ display along with the resolution of 1080 x 2160 pixels and having an 18:9 aspect ratio. In terms of storage capacity, the upcoming phablet has an 8GB of RAM and 256GB internal storage capacity. It packs a 3400mAh battery under the hood and runs on Android 8.0 Oreo out-of-the-box.

The recent leaks also suggested that the phablet have certain AI features providing scene recognition support with the help of phone image sensors. Additionally, it is anticipated that Mi Mix 2S will feature a Sony IMX363 sensor along with attractive features which include "chroma flash", "automatic HDR", and "object tracking".l It seems that the Mi MIX 2S is the first smartphone is being offered by Xiaomi that come with under display fingerprint sensor.
Another leak report had suggested that Mi Mix 2S would come with a front-facing notch feature which is similar to Apple iPhone X. It is not enough, some of the reports also claimed that upcoming phablet would come with several gesture controls such as "swipe up and pause" which we have seen on Apple’s flagship smartphones.
