The Chinese tech giant Xiaomi seems prepared to organize an event to launch its Mi4 handset in India. As the company has gained huge success over here through its three devices and now to maintain this success path, the tech gargantuan has decided to announce its next flagship in Indian market. Vice President of Xiaomi, Hugo Barra said in the Beijing event that an event in India will take place at New Delhi on January 28. On the other side, the India head Manu Kumar Jain said that Xiaomi Mi4 will make entry on that day.
It is also expected that company may follow its custom and will bring this device in market through flash sale on Tuesday. It is also reported that Xiaomi Mi4 will go on sale on February 3 via Flipkart. It could be possible that after the launch of this plushy handset, the company may discontinue the Mi3 handset in India. Manu Kumar announced earlier that Xiaomi’s R&D centre in Bengaluru will be ready in April.
It has now become clear that the new Mi smartphone is ready to hit Indian market, but at what price tag is still a trade secret. The company on the other side is already selling its Redmi Note 4G and Redmi 1S in country after facing the patent issue. Airtel is also selling the Redmi Note 4G here.
Well, here are few specifications of Xiaomi Mi4 to articulate the capability of this handset. It comes equipped with 5-inch full-HD display, quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor, 3GB of RAM, 3080mAh battery, 13-megapixel rear camera, and 8-megapixel front camera.
Recently the Chinese mobile maker had announced two new phablets, named Mi Note and Mi Note Pro. It is expected that both of these devices will soon show their competency in Indian market.
